Shawn Guido, Hearing Specialist, B.S.-HIS/IHS
In 2011, Shawn Guido, Listen 2 Life’s hearing instrument specialist, along with his wife Jennifer, co-founded the Listen 2 Life Hearing Center because of their belief that life is worth listening to. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Shawn spent 12 years as a hearing healthcare professional in a variety of healthcare settings and Doctors’ offices. Shawn became a licensed hearing aid specialist in 2010. Shawn has been instrumental in forming the hearing center’s authentic collaborative approach to hearing instrument fitting. His passion truly lies in seeing the delight on the faces of his patients and their family members.
Jennifer Sweeney-Guido, Owner/Director of Operations
Jennifer and Shawn founded Listen 2 Life Hearing Center in 2011. Jennifer oversees all office operations, patient care and marketing. In addition, she is also a hearing loss and hearing health advocate whose goal is to ensure that each and every patient gets the best possible service based on individual needs. Jennifer is thankful and proud to be a part our patient’s hearing aid success stories. Jennifer earned her Bachelors Degree from University of Pittsburgh.
Katharine Klinger, Au.D., FAAA, Audiologist
Dr. Katharine A. Klinger is an Audiologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Pennsylvania State University and her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University. Dr. Klinger specializes in general and pediatric diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing device evaluation and fitting, tinnitus management and aural rehabilitation. She currently performs diagnostic testing for the Berger Henry ENT Specialty Group. Dr. Klinger received her training in a wide array of clinical settings, including The Temple Head & Neck Institute. Katharine enjoys providing highly personalized hearing healthcare to improve her patient’s quality of life. She is passionate about continuing education and utilizing the latest technology and research to achieve successful outcomes for all of her patients.
Andrew Wizon, Director of IT
Andrew provides technology support for each of the Listen 2 Life hearing centers and has been on staff since the company’s early days. He got his first job in IT in 1985 during the early days of office computing and has been involved ever since. Trained in engineering and aviation, Andrew is a lifelong resident of southeastern Pennsylvania.
Jillian O’Rourke, Audiology Technician
Jillian is a graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She is the newest addition to the Listen 2 Life team and holds her license as a Hearing Instrument Specialist conferred by the Pennsylvania Department of State. Jillian is experienced in the Audiology industry. She is a National Lifetime Member of Alpha Phi Omega (National Community Service co-ed Fraternity) which makes one of her main passions helping others and wanting for nothing other than to see the smile on a patients’ face after making strides to improve their hearing. Jillian is passionate about her career in Audiology at Listen 2 Life and our patients are always happy when they see her.
Jen Gilligan, Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS)
Jen has a B.A. from La Salle University and is a Pennsylvania Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. Prior to joining L2L, Jen worked in the Pharmaceutical Market Research field as a Project Manager. Despite success in this career, she decided to change paths and pursue her Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) license. Having personally experienced sudden hearing loss at a young age, Jen wanted to help others learn to overcome the challenges and fears that often accompany hearing loss. At L2L, Jen’s goal is to educate patients and help make the hearing aid process as easy and comfortable as possible.
Ann Kresge, Front Office Assistant
Ann joined the Listen 2 Life team in August 2018. She is also a patient and has an appreciation of the hearing instrument process. With many years of experience in various administrative roles, she is excited to be a part of the Listen 2 Life team and interacting with our patients.
